Last night I was having dinner with a friend and was giving her a time line of how I got to the career I am now enjoying. I am convinced that all the different areas of art that I have explored including fabric painting, watercolor illustration, oil painting and pastels have contributed to the style that I am now producing on the computer. I did not approach the computer with any pre conceived ideas of how the art would develop. At first, I took already existing fine art that had a very strong cubistic feel and reproduced them on the computer. Having some success with that, I ventured out into the world of photo imaging and ended up combining the two. I am still after seven years hooked on the computer as the tool of choice. The method to my madness beings with a traditional drawing that I scan in and use as a template. I then do all my under painting. Then I construct all my 3D files in STRATA VISION PRO and Adobe Deminsions they will also be used in photoshop. I then start to construct the file in photoshop and utilize the layers to bring in all the illustrator files and 3d files that will have filters and shading applied to them.
